let some of the notes on the higher strings seep through the palm 
muting sometimes if you want- it sounds neat



Strum the verse chords at the end, but make them more bar-chordish


As for what troy is doing, there some defenite phaser and delay action, 
and probably with flanger too. 

He flips out on these notes at times for a few seconds in between verses
and then kicks in the phaser. Theres no real way to tab what he's doing.
